The Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Mr Ramesh Pokhriyal has disclosed the new regulations of the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 with the aim to raise the standard of education in India.The HRD Ministry has formulated the regulations to Improve Internationalization of India's Educational System in accordance with New Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

In order to make India a top study destination and also to promote higher education sector Internationally NEP 2020 is planning various programs like Simplifying faculty and student exchanges, Research and Training partnerships, Relevant and Mutual beneficial MoU's signing process with foreign nations, Encouraging top universities to establish Campuses in foreign nations.
Each Higher Educational Institute (HEI) will set up an office globally so that they will assist students arriving from various places in the world. HEI will also be allowed to look into foreign university credits and there will be courses and programs in various subjects like Indian languages, Yoga, Arts, Indology and Ayush systems of medicine etc...
Here are some of the steps taken to improve the Internationalization of Higher Education in accordance with NEP 2020 including
- Identifying and encouraging the unique strengths of students through educating parents and teachers.
- Focusing the need of comprehensive individual development of students in both academic and extracurricular areas.
- Enabling students to choose their best learning pathways and programs in accordance with their talents and interests.
- Avoid damage hierarchies and repositories between various fields of study and there is no clear distinctions between the arts and sciences, curricular and extra curricular activities, vocational and academic streams.
- All major and minor combinations are acceptable.
- In order to ensure the unity and integrity of all knowledge, multi disciplinary and a comprehensive education in all disciplines are necessary.
- Focusing more on using creativity,critical thinking and acquiring conceptual knowledge rather than memorization to promote innovation and rational decision making.
- Encouraging Multilingualism and the importance of language in both learning and teaching/
- Developing life qualities which includes cooperation, re-silence and Team work that has more emphasis on regulative learning assessment.
Developing Knowledge, Skills, abilities, values and attitudes that support a responsible commitment and sustainable development with a global well being that instills a profound pride not only in thinking but also in spirit, intellect and acts.Indian Education system has strong foundational roots that helps to develop India. as a Global knowledge super power with a high spirited, energetic and unbiased knowledge hub by offering high quality education to everyone.
