Education and Knowledge are two different things interwined yes,but not the same . As According to Einstein “Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school. ” Education is defined as a continuous holistic process of teaching,learning and training to improve knowledge and develop skills. As said by Gilbert,”Education is simply the soul of a society as it passes from one generation to another” where as Knowledge is understanding the information under the skills that one gain through education or experience.

Education Vs Knowledge

The primary difference between Knowledge and Education is that Education is formal process whereas knowledge is informal experience. Education is acquired formally in school,colleges and universities etc whereas knowledge is gained from the real life experiences.Simply saying Education is a process of gaining Knowledge where as Knowledge is acquired from reading,consultations and also through good education.Education is taught by teachers where as Knowledge is self driven and it is the application of various facts and theories and has no set of guidelines.Education has some predefined set of rules and regulations where as Knowledge has no boundaries.

Knowledge and Education are synonyms but there is a borderline difference between them as Education is learned from Books and Knowledge is gained from life experiences . Education grows with age where as Knowledge has no growth rate. Lastly Knowledge is a noun which is gained through experience and education and it is also understanding the particular fact or an event which includes the raw information understanding the matter and developing ones skills. Education helps an individual to realize the self potential and talents and also imparting culture and tradition from one generation to another.knowledge helps these traditions and cultures to grow for the betterment of the society.
