India's Online Education Industry has vast demand and it is growing to set a new trend in upcoming years. As according to the report provided by the famous and top most Search engine giant Google e-education industry is about to show a tremendous growth by 2021. Presently it is $247 million worth and is expected to raise to $1.96 billion.
Google told that the searches for keyword online education was doubled in the past two years which also resulted a fourfold increase in consumption of educational content on you tube over the past years.

In the report they have covered more than 3600 respondents over 27 cities and they found lot of interesting information regarding e-education industry progress. They have surveyed in depth on market research and analytics for online education industry and even they have noticed that the number of paid users was increased substantially from 1.6 million to 9.6 million.
Most importantly the number of searches for Online education is also coming from the tier 2 cities in India which is more than 35% when compared to last year. The Percentage of searches for online education related keyword is 44% from this tier2 cities.This also states that we are seeing tremendous growth for online education in tier 2 cities which is fueled by greater internet usage.
The five major category keywords of online education includes Higher education, Casual learning, Primary and secondary supplemental education, Test Preparation, reskilling and online certifications, Online certification courses and reskilling has huge demand in the market with good number of searches with a share of more than 38%.
