Outcome based education methods have been adopted all over the world It focuses on skills and developing curriculum and outcomes like Life Skills, Basic Skills, Professional and Vocational Skills, Intellectual and Interpersonal Skills. It measures using three parameters namely Program Educational Objectives (PEO), Program Outcomes (PO) and Course Outcomes (CO).
Learners will understand what is expected of them and have a clear understanding of what needs to be accomplished in each level. They determine what knowledge and skills will be required to reach te outcome. OBE doesn't specify the specific method of instruction and allows flexibile instruction free methods to recognize diversity among learners.
Learner involvement is the keypart of OBE.Involvement allows learners to feel responsible for their own Individual learning to achieve their goals. This provides flexibility and freedom of learning in many ways so that it is easy to measure performance at each and every step.It provides enough time to attain proficiency and fluency.
