Upskilling with the latest technological skills with relevant digital tools and softskills will empower women force in the society. Lack of opportuntities,accessibility, literacy and skill gaps are some of the barriers that women are facing these days. Women participation in work force has also decreased from 24.8% to 22.3%. It is estimated that women are earning only one fifth of men.

Women continue to work more in feminised sectors such as beauty, retail etc. Skill gap is a major concern for working women to be promoted to higher positions. Lack of soft skills also restricts women growth opportunities. Only 35% of Indian women are using internet. and 25% are using mobile phone reducing their opportunities.
Creating new jobs and prioritize new age skills necessary upskilling like leadership management, negotiation and conflict resolution management is important for women. Bridging these gaps will not only allow more worthful women into workforce that helps to achieve qualitative results. Women will benefit more by learning and digital skills that are primarily in demand.
Women are excellent leaders especially when it comes to leading teams
and organizations. Companies are also witnessing 35% of higher ROI when
women are leading from the front than that of men. As according to
sources it is expected that 75 million women will join the work force
next decade. Women leadership in the workplace is the need of the hour and through proper guidance and training it is possible.
