University of Delhi to offer Job-Oriented Courses for students enrolled in Open Learning

University of Delhi is planning to send a proposal for opening up a center to offer Job-oriented courses for students enrolled in Open Learning Campus. The decision of establishing the center will take place at the academic council meeting which is going to held on March 22. 

Open Learning Campus Program

The director of Open Learning Campus Mr Payal Mago said that the center will provide need based skilled online and experiential learning courses to students to enhance the future careers of students of the School of Open Learning (SOL). 

Students will also learn the basic fundamentals of Computers and languages that help them. To start with Center is planning to offer three diploma courses Journalism (English and Hindi), Post Graduate Diploma in Library Automation Services and Cultivation of Mushroom. The courses will be both online and offline mix.

All the courses will run in accordance with the National Education Policy on a no-profit basis.The Journalism course training will run with the collaboration of Hansraj College of Delhi University.Experts will deal other courses and Nominal charges will be levied.
