Delhi Government Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that their government has allocated Rs 16,278 crore for Education sector in the budget 2022-23. Our government is focusing on developing a boarding school for the homeless children and a science musuem in a school.

The total outlay for the Education Sector saw a decline from the last year budget. Last year Delhi govt has allocated 16,377 crores for Education sector,In this financial year Rs 14,412 crore as revenue and Rs 1,866 crore under capital expenditure.
It is 22% of the total budget outlay of Rs 75,800 crore. Education sector has made highest allocation in the budget.Manish Sisodia also proposed Rs 10 crore for setting up a boarding school for homeless children The govt has taken several measures to provide basic education to children but the measures are partially successful that lacked human touch
It is possible to get quality education only when basic facilities like food and shelter are in place. The Delhi government has decided to build excellent schools with modern facilities for homeless children to make better citizens of society. The government is also planning to set up a science museum in the school.The government has also allocated a budget of Rs 50 crore for Musuem.
The Children will be provided emotional and psychological support with best facilities. Science Museum will play an important role in developing curiosity and interest in science among children.With the help of videos and books, the musuem will bring alltopics related to science that helps students to understand well.
Delhi Government is very happy to implement happiness curriculum and Deshbhakthi curriculum in all government schools. Even the govt is planning to introduce the same in private schools also, As according to Manish Sisodia three lakh students of class 11 and class 12 government schools have worked on 51,000 busines ideas under the business blasters program. The same program is going toimplement in private schools soon.
Delhi government is planning to convert all school classrooms into smart classrooms in next five years. The pilot project was also successfully completed. The government has also setup a Modern Montessori Lab which helps in development of early childhood education. In near future the government is also planning to set up 100+ Modern Montessori labs in schools.
Delhi Government also aims to improve the Sports infrastructure in 100 selected schools as according to the needs of the children. After AAP government came into power Five new Universities have opened in Delhi.Delhi Pharmceutical Science and Research University (DPSRU) , Delhi Skill and Entreprenuership University (DSEU), Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), Delhi Sports University (DSU) and Delhi Teachers University (DTU).
Fifteen Campuses of Delhi Skill and Entreprenuership University (DSEU) have already started and 11 more campuses with 2500 admissions will start from this year. About 250 sports talents admissions across the country has been started in Delhi Sports University (DSU)
