The Indian Institute of Science (IISC), Bangalore has announced a new BTech program in Mathematics and Computing. The admissions will be done through JEE Advanced Scores.The complete details are available in the IISC official website iisc.ac.in.

There will be a total of 52 seats including 8 supernueracy seats for female candidates and 4 for foreign candidates. Students can obtain MTech degree also by taking additional year of the course and project credits. There is no specific timelines for admission in to this Bachelor's program and the deadlines will be soon updated in the IISC official website.The Counselling process is yet to finalize.
In order to apply for admission into this program the candidate should have cleared Class 12 or Equivalent from a recognized board with Maths, Physics, Chemistry and a language. The course fee structure for general/OBC/EWS categories is Rs 2,20,200 for the first year. For SC/ST category candidates have to pay Rs 20,200 for the first academic year.
IISC Bangalore has approached the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) of the IIT's to join with them. If successful JoSAA will take care of application and Counselling procedures as according to their business rules.else it will be handled by IISC.
BTech program in Mathematics and computing comprises of Four semesters which includes six courses in Mathematics and Computing apart from various other courses in engineering disciplines.Students will have flexibility to navigate large number of available courses that guides them towards the specialization in their interested areas like Mathematics, Mathematical Finance, AI,MLComputational Science and Biology, Theoretical Computer Science, Quantum and Signal Processing areas so that it would be easy for them to research/industry projects in their fourth year.
