Indian students will pursue their Engineering in Local Native Languages

The All India Council of Technical education (AICTE) and The Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology (CSTT) signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) so as to expand  engineering and technical education in local languages. This MoU will benefit hundreds of Indian students who wants to pursue their Engineering Education in their respective local languages.

Education in Local Languages

The regulatory body has started translating 218 engineering books in 11 Indian Languages. AICTE's aim is to propogate the use of acquiring knowledge in local languages widely by collaborating with State governments, Universities, State Acamedies and Text book boards..They will become a part of Text books preparation in Indian Local Languages

Both AICTE and CSTT will work together in defining the scientific and Technical terms in their local languages so that it would be easy for Faculty Development and Teaching programs, content creation, Imparting Skilled and Vocational education, Promotion of Indian Knowledge in different languages and localization of Technology. 

The decision will inspire hundreds of students in remote areas to take up their Technical education in their own language.CSIT will provide localized Technology and Terminology  training that will facilitate AICTE teaching faculty and its branches by conducting seminars and workshops.
