The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched a carrer guidance and counselling portal for students. CBSE has developed this portal which will reach 21 million students so as to bring scale, speed and standard to career guidance process with holistic integrated vision for building knowledge and skills for students and to make them Future Ready.

CBSE Board has collaborated with UNICEF and iDream career private limited along with 13 state governments and private sector for setting up the career guidance portal in regional languages. In order to support grade 9 to 12 students and to help them access educational and career related resources and opportunities with life long learning.
CBSE will train two teachers/counsellers per school through digital training method and allows them to access entire curriculum and use it to guide the students for their career queries. Additional 90 hours of self paced online training along with certfication will also be provided to teachers/counsellers. They need to clear online assessments on various modules to obtain certification.
CBSE career portals are also available in Mobile Apps that offer information on careers,college directories, courses from several countries, scholarships and competitive entrance exams. This portal is linked to CBSE Main portal and all students will be able to sign up on the portal with their details and access a personalized career dashboard that will also be accessible to teachers and administrators.
