Citing the Indian Cricket Team's recent biggest win against Team Australia, Indian Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi Addressing the students and faculty of 18th convocation of Tezpur University in Assam said that the youth needs to take inspiration from Indian cricket team. The young Indian team was inexperienced and injured, but that didn't deter the determination in beating one of the best teams in the World. The attitude of entire nation has changed in this Covid era.

A total of 1,218 students received their degrees and diplomas in the Tezpur University convocation function.Modi said that students should work towards building a self-reliant India.By the time India celebrates the 100th Independence day the nation should also celebrates the efforts of the students who would be graduating now. He asked students to spread the tej of Tezpur univerity across the nation.
In Near future the functioning of Universities will be entirely virtual and students from any part of the world would be able to study from anywhere anytime. We need to focus on achieving our goals with New Education Policy that has power to improve the admission,teaching and evaluation system with a regulatory framework for transformation. The New Education Policy aims at flexible and interdisciplinary education system and it primarily focuses on data and analytics.
Referring to Incubation center Modi told students that they have great opportunities and your best efforts will tell that you have potential. He also applauded the efforts of varsity in the documentation of tribal language culture and waste energy.
