Chinese school children have to wear
“Intelligent Uniforms” which are embedded with electronic chips that track
their movements. As according to The Epoch Times report students at more than 10
schools in Guizhou Province and its neighboring regions. Attendance in schools
has been a surge since the new technology has been implemented. Students are
very much aware that their every movement is being tracked.

The main advantage of wearing
Intelligent Smart uniforms is to help teachers, parents and school officials to
track children in real time. If any student/children skip school without permission,
an alarm will be triggered. This is the positive initiative on country’s
emphasis on Digital Education and Smart school campuses.
It will also alert appropriate
authorities if a student falls asleep in a class and also has a provision for
parents to monitor their child’s performance in school along with what they are
buying. Parents can set spending limits for their children too.

technology being embedded into the school uniforms with databases being set up
to match each inform to individual student’s face with Optical Face recognition
software technology being installed at school entrances that can match children’s
face with the electronic chip embedded in the school uniform. This is to
prevent students from exchanging uniforms or trying to manipulate the system.
