The Indian Army is planning to provide Education and Employment opportunities to youth of Kishtwar District of Jammu and Kashmir despite of severe winter conditions. They are initiating the project for youth which will provide guidance for the needy children in the district and also help them in developing the skills.

They are also looking for various schemes to engage and propel the Kishtwar district of Jammu & Kashmir youth to pursue their future career interests in a systematic and meaningful way.The major projects undertaken by the army are Welding and Mechanical engineering, Motor driving classes, Heavy duty vehicle classes, Earth driving vehicle classes, Plumbing classes, masonry classes etc...For Students who are studying class 5th to class 12th Tuition facilities are also provided during winter season.

In order to empower women and to develop their skills the army is conducting training classes in weaving, embroidering,tailoring and knitting classes which makes them to stand on their tows with self reliant and in-dependable towards their survival of livelihood. For this program already more than 100 women are participating in training and getting benefited.
The Indian Army is aiming to cover some more places like Sondar, Chingam, Navapachchi, Dacchin Naginigarh, Patnazi, Shergwari, Kukarwas in Bonjwa villages in which more than 750 students has participated.
