Education Department is now focusing on improving the basic needs of students in government schools. Infrastructure in schools and Revamping old schools with sufficient class rooms and best facilities is the primary goal of department this year. In Union budget Rs 172.04 crore is allocated to expenses in education sector in new financial year.

Providing necessary classrooms for teaching,laboratories, toilets and ramps for specially disabled students will be the primary attention of Education Department. Creating digitized smart class rooms program is also going to take up by the government. Constructing Kitchens for Mid day meals in government schools with established infrastructure across schools in India..
For Financial year 2016-17 a total of Rs 715.79 crore has been allocated for education out of which Rs 172.4 crore is planned head expenses and Rs 543.75 crore for non planned expenses. Recently in January 2016 Government Model high school Dhanas II with 40 class rooms, four lambs and one ramp was inaugurated.Four more Government schools has also started.
