Education Ministry of Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development has launched Digital Content development for standard one and two pupils in Nairobi on Tuesday.The Activities includes interactive animations,videos and audio,cartoons,puppets exercises and quizzes aimed at helping pupils learn.
Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i has launched The content of Mathematics, Science, Social studies, English and Kiswahili .Fred Matiang'i said that the content will provide guidance in improve learning and teaching of pupils and are working with other government institutions to ensure laptops are delivered for 1.2 million pupils in public schools.

The Institute also want to prepare all the materials so that children can learn using modern methods.Matiang'i also called on the private sectors and also all players including Kenya Publishers Association to join in developing more digital content development.Apart from Digital Content they are also planning for e-learning training's which includes graphic development from February.For Visually impaired and also those with hearing difficulties Kenya Institute is also planning for developing content
"Kenyian Education system will be modernized soon and can be accessed any time on anytime on digital platforms and enhance access to information.On February in Nairobi we are planning to organize a conference on digital content development " The CS said

Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang, PS nominees for ICT Victor Kyalo and
his vocational and technical training counterpart Dinah Mwinzi attended
the event.Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development also intends to analyse development of digital content for
pupils in standard three to five in the five subjects between next year
and 2017.
