Jammu and Kashmir Back to Village (B2V) successful initiative brings back 14,000 drop out children to Schools

Around 14,000 dropout children returned to schools in Jammu and Kashmir. The fourth phase of Back to Village(B2V) initiative in Jammu and Kashmir has given good results.The information was presented by Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Mehta in an assessment meeting which was held in between October 27 and November 3.

This was the largest successful initiative and around 13,977 dropout students were re-admitted in schools with an assurance of decent education to children. The Back to Village(B2V) program initiative has been successful in creating self employment options for 21,329 people. 

These people have added 277 cooperative societies and registered in various industries like housing, transportation, health and poultry.In order to monitor changes in the community the officers are instructed to visit their panchayat at least once in three  months.The authorities are also planning to createan online invoicing system and  e-contractor registration system along with digital payment method promotion activity  and implementation which will be very much helpful for all divisions.
