Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced that the Central Government is in the process of establishing Prime Minister (PM) Shri Schools that are fully equipped to prepare students for the future. After addressing the inaugural session on the second day of National School Education Ministers conference Minister said that School Education is the foundation of the Knowledge based society as National Education Policy (NEP) is a knowledge document that aims to promote all round development and making education accessible to anyone.

NEP's approach of 5+3+3+4 covers pre-school to secondary, Teacher training and Adult Education and focuses on ECCE. Integration of Skill Development with school education with prioritize teaching that are steps to prepare Global Citizens.
The state of art of schools will become the laboratory of NEP and asking for feedback from all the states, UTs and entire education ecosystem for creating a futuristic benchmodel. Sharing Knowledge from all state education ministers in outcome based discussions is the step towards transforming the learning in accordance with NEP 2020.
