The Union Human Resource Development Minister Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal has released the Alternative Academic Calendar for Classes 10 and 12 developed by National Council for Education Research and Training (NCERT) today. NCERT is taking responsibility to provide students with multiple alternative learning ways through interesting activities to continue the flow of learning in this Covid-19 Pandemic Situation
Alternative Academic Calendar will empower and directs teachers, principals, parents, and students on the best usage of the various latest technology and social media tools to educate and engage students when they are at home. The effective usage of online learning and teaching tools will bring positive outcomes.
NCERT had already published the calendar for all the subjects and it will be released week by week. This calendar had already shared with Video conferencing and DTH channels to various education boards. The main aim of NCERT is to make sure that the students have top quality standardized content for learning purposes.
The Curriculum includes radio, audio, and video programs for differently-abled students also. All the schools and colleges are closed since middle of the March. NCERT is planning to re-open schools in a phase by phase manner after discussing the situational circumstances with the respective state governments.
