The
106th edition of Indian Science Congress starting on Thursday, Jan 3rd
at Jalandhar, Punjab Lovely Professional University Campus will be inaugurated
by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Major science event which will happen from
Jan 3-7 comprises of world-renowned annual congregation with Six Nobel Laureates
(Germany, Hungary, England and others) and around 30,000 scientists.

The
Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA) has been organizing this event
annually so as to bring together the science fraternity across the world to
discuss about latest innovations and researches. The main theme of year 2019 event
is “Future India- Science and Technology”.
The
Five-day event will have more than 100+ Conferences and events of Scientific
and Technological origin where scientists and senior officials from India, UK, US
and other countries will participate. Eminent scientists from Indian Space
Research Organization (ISRO) , Department of Science and Technology, University
Grants Commission and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) are
also stated to take part.
The
main aim of this event is to deliver the benefits of science and technology to
the last man in the Indian society. Scientists are putting their heart and soul
to find new solutions to the problems facing the nation in day to day
world. They are also striving hard to
improve the quality life style of a common man.
The
Children’s Science Congress will be inaugurated on Friday. Nearly 150 Science Projects
are finalized and children will have opportunity to listen and interact with
eminent scientists and Nobel Laureates. On the Third day Two-day science
communicators aimed (to brainstorm ways of dissemination of scientific
information and inculcation of scientific attitude among masses) to Meet 2019
will be inaugurated. The Women’s Science Congress will be inaugurated on Jan 5
which will showcase the contribution of Women in Science and Technology.
