Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu
Naidu laid the foundation stone for Electronics giant TCL’s First Industry park
in Tirupati, India on Thursday. TCL, world’s third biggest TV Panels Manufacturing
unit will come up in Andhra Pradesh on a 153-acre land with an investment of around
Rs2,200 crore which will significantly boosts electronic and manufacturing
sectors in Andhra Pradesh.

TCL is paving the way for bright “Electronics
and Manufacturing Future Hub “for Andhra Pradesh. TCL Chairman Li Dongsheng and
IT Minister Lokesh were also present at the Ground Breaking Ceremony event held
in Tirupati.
TCL will make 60 lakh television panels from
this industrial unit. It was considered as a major land mark in the country and
all upcoming electronics and Manufacturing companies will be named as “Silicon
City”. TCL industry park in Tirupati will generate 8000 Jobs for local
residents.
