Quantitative Aptitude Preparation tips for Bank Exams

Quantitative Aptitude preparation is one of the essential element in Bank Examinations. Each and Every Bank examination will follow preliminary, main and group discussion processes for selecting the best suitable candidate for Job. Preliminary round is basically a qualifying round. It is followed by Screening round which comprises of three sections namely English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning ability.
Quantitative Aptitude Tips

Quantitative Aptitude is key among the three sections. It is important because it is a good scoring section for candidates if we understand the concepts well. Before starting preparing Quantitative aptitude we need to know the weightage of the various topics in it. Data Interpretation is one important topic in which we can expect around 10 questions in the examination. After Data Interpretation Quadratic equations, number series and simplifications are other major topics in which we can expect 5 questions from each topic. 
 
Effective practice of various topics in Quantitative aptitude will give the confidence to candidate to clear the preliminary round easily. Even in Data Interpretations candidate needs to focus mainly on pie charts, line graphs, bar graphs and other tabular graphs. Regarding simplifications the candidate needs to be familiar with BODMAS rules and also learning square table and cube tables. along with various other topics like Ratio and Proportion, percentages, profit & Loss, Averages, time & work, simple and compound interests etc...

Attending Practice tests on each and every topic will give confidence and reduces the errors and time taken for solving the problems. Mock test will also be helpful in improving the speed and accuracy of problem solving methods in time.It also gives an opportunity to analyze strengths and weakness of the candidate in various sections to assess the preparation level. If we are good at analyzing the questions in time and solve them by using simplified methods will not gives positive results but also good Job for the future.
