Unemployment is scattering across India. In 2015 More than 1,50,000 engineering students of 650 colleges are unemployable.It is very sad to hear that the employment opportunities are falling down gradually and it is almost 80% of Engineering graduates are unemployable.Due to major skill gap as almost 80% of the engineering graduates are unemployed.
Engineering degree has become the de-facto graduate degree for all the students today.Government need to come up with Job-centric programs for improving the employment rate in the country.In India Delhi Stands on the top position in producing most number of employable engineers followed by Bangalore and other western parts of the country.
One interesting fact is that tier-3 cities are also producing employable engineers. The students from these cities are helpful in hiring entry level positions of various IT Service companies.Females have high employability in the fields of ITES or BPO , Non-IT sales engineer , Content Development jobs where they can work in their preferred company
