Indian President Pranab Mukherjee stressed the need of quality education standards in the country as the level of education standard is declining . Inaugurating the Diamond jubilee celebrations and the 26th convocation of Birla Institute of Technology Pranab Mukherjee sought the quality improvement in the education by engaging focused attention of academic leaders and policy makers.
Attracting experienced and quality faculty by establishing research parks and through promoting centers of excellence and giving lectures to students from Adjunct Faculty from industry and research institutions with core competencies can provide practical orientation to course modules.

Establishing partnerships with domestic and foreign institutions by signing MOU's will also be helpful in providing knowledge, communication and technical skillset of students. Creating interlinkage with higher educational institutions can deliver best in terms of scope of research collaboration and Knowledge sharing on new ideas and best practices. We need to give boost up to start-ups which provides a kick start through various innovative activities and they show the path of progress with entrepreneur skills & Capabilities that inspires others.
India is the third largest startup-eco system with more than 4000+ startups in the world behind US and UK. It is very essential to prepare students as Job creators rather than Job seekers. The President presented Gold Medals to meritorious students from all branches in Engineering after presenting PhD, Post graduation and Graduation degrees to the students. He asked BIT to continue trust on social responsive projects through research and technology.
