World bank offers $50 million to improve Minority Education and Training Skills

With the aim to keep young people from minority communities to complete education  and also gain from market driven programs which helps to improve employment outcome The Government of India along with World bank has signed a $50 million credit for Nai Manzil.The Loan Agreement which has a maturity of 25 years along with 5 years grace period and was signed by kumar and Michael Haney from World bank ,The operations advisor in India.Credit will be felicitated by International Development Association(IDA).

The Education and Skills Training minority communities will help for finding imparting quality education and also assist them with necessary vocational skills required to attain sustainable employment .This project will also support the Government's national Nai Manzil(New Horizon) Scheme which was launched  this August this year.

The Joint Secretary Economic Affairs in the Finance Industry said that "Interventions under this Education and Skills training for minority communities projects will not only support Nai Manzil Scheme and also improves the employability  and performance of minority youth in the market."
