The National Council for Education Research and Training (NCERT) has soon initiated measures to publish a supplementary readers on The Highest military honour Paramaveerachakra awardees will bring out in consultation with the Defence Ministry.

Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Smriti Irani said in Loksabha on Monday that "The NCERT has initiated measures to publish a book titled 'Veer Gatha:Stories of Paramveerachakra Awardees about Twenty one war heroes of the country , in consultation with the Ministry of Defence."
In another written reply, Irani said the Central Board of
Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to accept online
applications from private students for classes X and XII CBSE
Board Examination-2016, under the Board's scheme of
improvement/compartment/full subject categories.
