CBSE has taken a major decision in bringing Accountability and Transparency for Quality Assessment and accreditation of schools.CBSE has Invited EOI from all registered educational institutions/Trusts and also from Various Individual groups for active engagement in educational and also in social services sectors for a longer period to undertake the Institutional evaluation of schools affiliated with CBSE and also schools planning for its affiliation.This will ensure Transparency and accountability in affiliated schools besides providing accurate information.

Selected bodies will accredit schools by CBSE on a seven point assessment chart which will be assessed at various layers which includes peer review of quality assessment , stakeholders and beneficiaries to judge satisfaction, checking the schools reports to assess its self review and also by checking another analysis and also overall assessment of school.The assessment can be done based on several factors like academic processes and products, co-scholastic process and products, infrastructure adequacy and functionality, management and administration etc.The guidelines will be issued to ensure transparent functioning of all educational institutes.The schools will be rated advocated accreditation to ensure high quality education.
