National Institute of Technology (NIT) Andhra Pradesh has conducted two workshops in collaboration with Technology Innovation Hub on Autonomous Navigation (TITHAN) ,IIT Hyderabad and optimus logic.on March 5 and 6.

The workshop mainly focuses on creating awareness on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV) applications and various opportunities for future.It aims to bring up globally competent future engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge through quality education, research and innovation. This will help engineers to develop skills on cutting edge technologies in the field of Drone Technology.
Drone Technology is growing at faster rate these days. It has various potential applications in Defence, Military,Industrial and agriculture sectors.Now a days most of the Universities and institutes are working towards future research and development, prototyping and design testing. This will help them to understand the basics of Drone Design and looking to pursue careers in the latest emerging sector.
NIT is also planning to conduct more collaborative programs with various industry prominent leaders and famous reputed institutes .The Interdisciplinary learning approach is very much essential to design on innovative products. Students will acquire sound knowledge that helps them to develop real-time solutions for various global problems in this competitive world which is possible with Industry collaboration.
