UGC Vice Chair Person Dr. Bhushan Patwardhan said that We should not make our Education System automatic as Technology cannot replace Teachers. Due to Covid-19 People are choosing new ways of learning things which are appreciable but, we should not rely on this trend and make our education system automated.

He also emphasized that Human Intervention and Connectivity are very important aspects of learning. People will gain experience and receives practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge when there is a give and take the relationship between teacher and student. There should be one-one interaction and eye coordination to focus on the subject studies. Learning using the mentor system and understanding subject and grasping knowledge by observing things around is a difficult technology.
Dr. Bhushan Patwardhan attended a Webinar organized by IIHMR University Jaipur on Heartful Leadership Transforming Education and Supporting sustainability. He mentioned that the ultimate purpose of Education is to bring flexible consciousness and focus on methods for improvement through learning.
