CBSE has approved the proposal and released the orders regarding Candidates/Children with special needs(CWSN) appearing for Class 10 and Class 12 examination will be able to use computers or Laptops to write their exams this year. The board has also approved the provision of the reader for the candidate who doesn't want a scribe facility and the individual person to read the question paper.

Candidate will have to submit the certificate of registration issued by a medical practitioner recommending the usage of computer facility and also citing the reasons for grounds of recommendation. Relaxation in attendance up to 50% may also be considered to candidates with special needs and who couldn't attend school.
The usage of computer facility shall be limited only for viewing the questions in enlarged font size and typing the answers. Candidates can also listen to the question items and type the answers. Candidates can also bring their own Laptops duly formatted and the centre superintendent will allow to use in the examination hall after the thorough inspection.
The Laptop should have an internet facility so as to maintain the sanctity of the examination. All the requirements necessary should be taken care by the candidates by sending the appropriate required documents to the chief superintendent though school. The invigilator will sign the printouts of the answers typed by the candidate at the examination center which will be facilitated by the Chief Superintendent.
