The Prestigious Gate Cambridge has selected Three Indian Applicants for Scholarship program


The Gates Cambridge's  Professor Barry Everitt Provost (CEO)  has announced the exceptional,outstanding and socially committed students for the scholarship program for pursuing Bachelor's and Master's Program .The Prestigious university has selected 55 scholar students from all major 30 countries worldwide representing 68 Universities. The University strong believes that these scholars are going to be future Transformative leaders in their specific field.

Three Indians namely Malavika Nair, Sagnik Dutta and Sampurna Chakrabarti was selected  among 55 People in the list. They are eligible for scholarship and they will study in 39 University Departments. These scholars will also be members of 24 Colleges. Among 55 Women scholars outnumbered male scholars by a ratio of 36:19.

Malavika Nair, Joined The University of Cambridge to pursue her Bachelor's and Master's degree under Natural Sciences Tripos in the Field of Material Science and Metallurgy. She is planning to her PhD in Material science. Another Indian Sagnik Dutta  will do his PhD in Politics and International Studies. He has been the student of University of Calcutta during his studies. Earlier he worked as a journalist in India for Six years. Sampurna Chakrabarti is planning to do his PhD in Pharmacology. He wanted to do his research to understand the effects of millions of people in arthritis and pain pathologies. He is studying in Dr Ewan St John Smith at Pharmacology department regarding drug targets for arthritic pain.
