The Government of Haryana will run Computer Education courses in Government colleges of state so as to impart quality computer education with necessary skills which helps them globally competent from emerging various employment oppurtunities in the field of IT.

The Director General of Higher education Dheera Khandelwal said The Department has planned to introduce compulsory computer education program in 67 government colleges which will emphasis on providing computer education particularly in rural areas which will fecilitate the people of weaker sections to learn minimum basic computer skills which will help in getting better employement opportunities in the field of IT.
In order to recruit qualified computer education teachers screening tests and walk-in interviews will be conducted this month in all 21 districts of Haryana. The Government has decided to engage 134 Computer Instructors and 67 Computer Attendants on contract basis upto May 15,2011.Haryana is surely going to be next IT Hub in near future.
