The children’s Annual Report card analyses that Children in California is lacking in several areas including Education and Health care.Recently a Report was released late last month by non profit group,a concern for educators state wide also said athat California can do better for kids despite of on going economic crisis.Experts say if we doesnot care,every one will pay later with higher crime and an increased number of dropouts.

Tem Lempert President of Statewide research and advocacy group for children said that “The question is no longer we do these things ,it’s why haven’t we done them”.The report showed D for K-12 education and a B+ for school programs and overall state averaged a C-.Children attributes low grades which have been going for several years to the disproportional state budget which shows a lot of impact in children and budgetary items.
California Ranks last among the 50 states on a number of measures of education spending when adjusted for cost of living ,cailfornia ranks 44th in per-pupil spending and state funds for K-12 education increased slightly to $49.7 billion in 2010-11 and it fell $4.1 billion short of state’s minimum constitutional gaurantee for K-14 spending and it includes a delayed payment of $1.7 billion.Oppurtunity and financial costs fo such failures are staggering and because the cost of 120,000 highschool dropouts is estimated to be $46.4 billions in total economic losses and more over $1.1 billion in annual costs associated with crime committed by high-school drop outs.
Government is ready to make reforms by Coordinating and streamlining the delivery of children’s services effectively and also implementing federal health care reform by Reducing childhood obesity rates.
