The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started a new Open Distance Learning and development program for teachers which covers various assignments evaluation and also about study skills development for new technologies for student support.This program is named as Academic Counselor’s On-line Training Program.

Training and continuous professional development of Distance learning Programs are necessary for the success of this systems in this fast and rapid growth of Information and communication technology in world wide.After this training the Academic councellors can make their students good in learning skills and also gradual development in using new technologies support.
